 Hawaii cake designer Rick Reichart's unique and artful wedding cakes, birthday cakes, sculpted cakes, and celebration cakes have generated a loyal following since cakelava opened on Oahu in 2005. All cakes and fillings are made from scratch and designed by Rick, a nationally recognized cake artist, with over 15 years experience in L.A., Seattle and Hawaii. Rick's exquisite cakes have appeared in numerous publications including People Magazine, grace ormonde Wedding Style, Your Wedding Day, The Bride and Bloom, Get Married, and American Cake Decorating. Rick recently competed in a Food Network Challenge: SpongeBob Birthday Cakes!
