cakelava specializes in one-of-a-kind elegant and whimsical custom designed wedding cakes, birthday cakes, sculpted cakes, and gourmet cupcakes in Oahu, Hawaii.  All cakes are made from scratch and designed by Rick Reichart, a nationally recognized cake designer, with over 15 years experience in L.A., Seattle and Honolulu. Rick's exquisite cakes have appeared in numerous publications including People Magazine, grace ormonde Wedding Style, Your Wedding Day, The Bride and Bloom and American Cake Decorating.  Sasha, his wife and business partner handles all customer and media relations for cakelava. Our cake studio is located in downtown Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii and is by appointment only.
